Cloth Diaper Demo Kit
Do you work in your community as a doula, midwife, childbirth educator, lactation consultant or health professional providing support and resources to new and expecting parents? Would you like to be able to provide hands on demonstrations of cloth diapers to your clients?
Demo kits make it easy to promote the use of cloth diapers to your clients.
RDIA's Consider Cloth campaign supplies educational resource kits to professionals who spread the word about cloth diapering. This is an educational campaign that provides information on:
- why cloth diapers are a good choice, highlighting their benefits and ease of use;
- the different types of diapers available today; and
- resources to learn more about cloth diapering.
RDIA has put together Consider Cloth
kits that include an example of different diaper types*, brochures filled with information on cloth diapering, and a consumer oriented cloth diaper resource guide created by our partners, the Real Diaper Association (RDA).
*Contents will vary depending on materials donated.

Our Consider Cloth consumer education campaign is beginning its sixth year, successfully spreading the word about the benefits and convenience of cloth diapers to thousands of new and expecting parents. Since the inception of the program in 2009, the Real Diaper Industry Association (RDIA) has distributed over 1200 Consider Cloth Kits to childbirth educators, doulas, midwives, and lactation consultants, who in turn share important cloth diapering information with their clients.
In a recent RDIA survey of Consider Cloth Kit customers, we received overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the program. Users expressed a high rate of satisfaction with the diapering products provided in each kit, and many told us they eagerly awaited the opportunity to buy new kits to update their current one.
Most of our customers use their kits 1-3x a month, which means RDIA’s Consider Cloth Kits reach thousands of parents in their childbirth classes, newborn care classes, and postpartum home visits.

The kit is wonderful, the diapers are all high quality and I like how they are the actual brands I would recommend to my clients. Thank you!

The kit helped me gain a better understanding of the different types of cloth diapering available today. Thank you!

VERY few people in our area are educated about cloth diapers HOWEVER it seems like more and more our clients are "jumping on the bandwagon!" It is VERY beneficial to have a kit like this to show clients about the various options in cloth diapering. Thank you.

I talk to many families about cloth diapering and this is a wonderful addition to that discussion. It is always easier if you have something to show them. I used cloth diapers and have a strong passion for passing on this info. We love using cloth. I think this is such a great idea, thanks for doing this.

I have been wanting to find a resource like this for such a long time - everyone in my classes asks about cloth diapers, and I am very excited to be able to show them a number of options and really educate them on the topic. Thank you!

We are a group of three LMs that provide home-birth services only. Lately we have been asked (quite often) what are the best diapers? We both used cloth diapers, but our babies are in their late 20's and my how things have changed! Thank you for the opportunity to be able to provide "hands on materials"

I love the kits. I often try to encourage my clients to use cloth diapers for a variety of reasons. Many of them have outdated ideas about cloth and it is fantastic to be able to show them some of the new styles/models/options available to them.
